The Magician

“if you drink much from a bottle marked ‘poison,’ it is almost certain to disagree with you, sooner or later.”

Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Carol
Bonnie decided that the best way to explain the Magician Card to all the animals was to demonstrate her refined skills in the art of alchemy. Ms Platypus was mesmerized as she watched Bonnie concoct some Magic Shite and remarked that the bird could establish an apothecary and make her fortune selling magic potions.

“You have to talk to your ingredients and ask them what medicinal properties they have” said Bonnie in her most convincing, authoritative voice. “Gerhard Dorn, a famous Alchemist, was a very religious introvert who tried to talk to the matter he was dealing with. So I experimented and would you believe, the Organic Eucalyptus water, gathered from the leaves after recent rain, told me that she aids digestion and improves immune systems”,

“Really!” said Platypus “How amazing! Talking rain water! I never!!! Mind you, I saw on Google that flavoring water with citrus fruit, such as lime, can liven up a glass of water, encouraging reluctant water-drinkers to consume more”.

“I use Dingo Piss for that” laughed Bonnie. “But you must not tell anyone or I may be forced to kill you. It is my very secret ingredient”.

Ms Platypus closed her eyes and let herself wander into the world of imagination. Then, quite suddenly, she looked at Bonnie and said “You could open an Apothecary, a dispensary to store these magic potions”.

And that, my friends was enough of a seed for Bonnie who is gifted with entrepreneurial skills as well.
