Friend of my chamber – Oh thou spiral shell
That murmurest of the ever-murmuring sea!
Repeating with eternal constancy
Whatever memories the wave can tell;
Whatever harmonies may rise and swell,
Whatever sadness in the deep may be;

Sometimes I am happy to listen to some music and sit quietly, allowing myself to drift back in time and remember what I have forgotten. Perhaps you will try this with me!
Choose some music to play in the background. Find a comfortable spot where you will not be disturbed. Hold a simple seashell in your non dominant hand and your pen in your dominant hand. Caress the shell with your fingers, letting your eyes travel over its surface.
Let sweet music that Pan used to attract the nymphets waft into the corridors of your mind.
Imagine that light is pouring in through your crown chakra, drifting, filling every corner of your body. Close your eyes! Breathe deeply and exhale three times
Allow yourself to enter the shell and wander into her architect designed corridors using each of your senses to map where you are, what you see, hear, smell, and touch with your naked feet? Make sure to note any feelings as you take in the detail.
Wander through the multi-levels taking in all the details and peer through opened doorways and windows. Immerse yourself in the surroundings. Listen to the sounds in this cavern. Move into the cavern where the creative spirit retreats, to escape the break neck speed of modern society.
Enter a long corridor with many doorways. Notice what the doors look like.
Let a door come alive. Is the door prepared to open itself to you? Do voices call out? Enter the doorway.
Where are you? What do you see? Who, if anyone is with you? What are you wearing?
