When you practice writing unsent letters, you express and release anger, frustration, and grief better because you don’t have to explain everything in detail. As a result, you provide yourself a space to gain a new perspective and open doors for inner-healing.
This totally ostentatious, over the top letter box beckoned to be featured. I drew a card and asked for a hint about what might be the subject of an unsent letter. It reminds me of those unresolved conflicts. Perhaps I could write a letter explaining the stance I took and why there is no coming back.
Perhaps you will photograph some letter boxes and be inspired to get back into writing and actually sending some snail mail. There are many reasons why snail mail is so awesome.
Cheer up a letter box by sending some old fashioned snail mail. A postcard will suffice.
